We recently sat down with Emily, our Customer Success team leader to talk about the meaningful work she does with our customers and her adorable greyhound Faye that has also become a member of our SalesFix team.

Tell us about your career journey before SalesFix?
I am originally from NZ, but now I reside in sunny Sydney. I started my Salesforce journey working for a Salesforce partner with customers across NZ & AU and during this time I worked my way up to Senior Consultant. I then changed direction and went in-house with a well-known Salesforce customer. So I’ve been using Salesforce for many years from both the customer and consultant perspectives. Before joining SalesFix I was APAC Director for Customer Success at a global Salesforce ISV. I was welcomed into the SalesFix team recently when I excitedly accepted the role of Customer Success Team Lead so I’ve come full circle back to consulting.
What do you do as the Customer Success Team Lead?
Customer Success is a very important part of our relationships with our customers here at SalesFix. I work closely with our customers after they have completed projects and transition them into long term clients through our Customer Success Program. I make sure our customers are supported and are getting the most out of their Salesforce platform and help them discover ways to continuously improve the way they work.
Which SalesFix core value do you identify with the most?
Customer success! (of course) We believe our success is our customers’ success, and this value drives us to deliver the best support possible.
But I also strongly identify with elevating our communities. Personally, I highly value equity and try to identify the differences in our customer’s starting points and provide the tools to help our customers reach their business goals.
I really want to see an equitable society and also believe it’s really important for businesses to give back, so it’s great to see that at the heart of what SalesFix is about and one of SalesFix’s core values.
What is your favorite aspect of your role?
Seeing customers use and get value from their Salesforce platform. The more that they engage with us for new features, support, and training shows us how much they’re enjoying using it.
Many of the SalesFix team have special furry co-workers who are part of our daily routine, tell us about yours?
Faye is my 4yo greyhound, my fiance adopted her a couple of months before we met. A large part of why we ended up going on our first date was because of our love for greyhounds! She’s had issues with corns on her feet so now wears boots whenever we leave the house (to her dismay) but it’s made her quite the character in our inner-west neighborhood. Her favourite activities are sleeping on the couch, playing with her squeaky toys- especially when I have customer meetings- and getting pats from every single person she sees.
