Thanks to the application Geopointe you can view and interact with your Salesforce data directly on Google Maps.
There are many ways to take advantage of this app. The most common one is the planification of customers visits.
Automatic Route Planning
Simply select up to 100 customers (or any records with an address), Geopointe will optimise your route. If you define time for appointments it will tell you when you should leave the previous meeting and eventually warn you if you can’t be on time.
Thanks to the geographic search engine, you can also view prospects around you or search any data in a defined location.
Sometimes it’s not easy to find the right filters to select data by area in a report; with Geopointe you just need to draw your shape or select a distance from a location.
Analyse and Customise Data
But it is not only an app for Sales, there many usages for your marketing team, analysing data on a map by colouring them with custom criteria. It is perfect to identify trends and aggregate statistics by location.
Maps are highly customisable using customisable markers, the drawing tool, the shape management, the heat mapping, the aggregation of numeric fields, Google places and custom map styles.
Different External Data Sources are also available and very useful to compare your data with demographics for example.
Finally action your data from the map! Standard actions are available but you can also add your own process. The more useful are: export data, mass update, add to a campaign, change owner, and send emails.
